Best Ever Puffed Wheat Cake

8 cups puffed wheat
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Measure the puffed wheat into large ( preferably  rubbermaid ) bowl.

In saucepan cook together butter or margarine, brown sugar and syrup and cocoa. Bring to boil stirring contantly. Boil for 1 minute. Add vanilla.
Pour over the puffed wheat. Mix to coat.
Press into greased 9x9 pan. Cool. Cut into squares.
