1 and 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 red pepper. chopped
3/4 cup chopped celery
3 cups canned tomatoes
1 tin tomato soup
1 tin kidney beans, drained
2 tins pork and beans
3/4 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
2 tablespoons chili powder
Brown beef, onion, garlic, peppers and celery in frying pan. Place in large casserole dish. Ad remaining ingredients. Stir together. Bake at 365 F for 1 hour until done.

Ordinary Chili
2 pounds lean ground beef
1 large onion
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 and 1/2 cup ragu type tomato sauce ( you can substitute concentrated canned tomato soup)
1 can pork and beans ( 10 oz can)
1 can kidney beans ( 10 oz can )
In large non-stick saucepan, brown ground beef and onion together over medium heat till the meat is cooked.
Add the chili powder, salt and pepper.
Add the tomato sauce and continue to cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.
Add the beans. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
Serve on buns.

Sloppy Joes

1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon worchestershire sauce
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup ketchup
1 cup water
In frying pan, brown beef, onion, salt, pepper and chilli powder together till beef is well cooked. Blend in the flour and fry just a bit more. Now add the ketchup, worchestershire sauce and 1 cup of water. Simmer on stove stirring occasionally for 15-20 minutes. Serve on a burger style bun. Enjoy!
