Strawberry Pie

1 and 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
pinch of salt
1 and 1/2 cups cold water

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt together with the water in medium saucepan. Cook over low heat until  the sauce boils and becomes thick and clear.
Remove from heat.
Add 1 ( 6 ounce ) package of strawberry jello
Stir well.
Cool slightly.
Place desired amount of fresh strawberries in a baked pie shell or graham pie crust. Pour the strawberry sauce over fresh strawberries. Allow to cool completely in fridge.
Top with your favorite whipped topping or sweetened whipped cream. Enjoy!
