Chocolate Sheet Cake

1 cup butter or margarine
6 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup hot water
2 cups packed brown sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sour cream

Place butter ( or margarine ), cocoa, and water in medium sized saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring gently. Remove from heat and add the flour, baking soda, brown sugar and salt. Mix till smooth with electric mixer. Now add beaten eggs and sour cream. Mix again with electric mixer. Pour into greased cookie sheet pan. Bake at 350F for about 15 minutes until done. Do not overbake.  Cool, then put on icing.

Chocolate Icing
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup cocoa
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups icing sugar ( more or less as needed )
Melt butter ( or margarine)  in saucepan. Add cocoa and stir till smooth. Add milk and vanilla. Now thicken with icing sugar to spreading consistancy. Spread on chocolate sheet cake.
